Thought I would share a technique I have played with to add color to brass challenge coins. Simple process if you are patient and have the right tools. I am sure there are better methods so if you know of any, please comment.
Below are links to the various parts and pieces in this video.

That's true. OneNote searches # and a keyword separately. So the only way to use tags as those in Evernote is to add a letter instead of #. I use the 'K' letter. Taking this video as an example 'Kreminder' works, but '#reminder' doesn't.

He says some good things and has a few valid points but some of it is also irrelevant and unhelpful because it's not based in reality. No, your company doesn't give a fuck about your feelings nor should they. Your feelings are not what they hired you for, they hired you to do a specific task the way they want it done and you agreed to that when you accepted employment, if you don't like it then start your own company and do things the way you want. He paints a utopian vision of how society should be and he's right. People should care about everyone else, people should love one another, and people should help each other, but that's not the world we live in so that's not really useful. Your feelings matter to you but you have no right to expect or demand that anyone else care about your feelings. It's not helpful to tell a bunch of narcissistic, soft, coddled, spoiled, frightened children that the world isn't dangerous. You teach them it's even more dangerous than they've imagined, then teach them to be brave.

I use hydrostone (concrete plaster mix) and i leave enough space that i can run a wetted paintbrush (flat #5ish) around all the surfaces inside, then fill the rest of the way. Only thing that consistently works for me, just make sure to rinse the brush immediately and obviously don't pour the rinse water in the drain

Love your vids ty, i did some reading.. #1mix water and crete then let sit 40min before the pour. This will hopefully degass the mix prior to pour. #2 use a release agent (some use Vaseline) #3 if this still fails you need a wetter mix or add sand or add fly ash. There are more things to try but these seem like the most common... Then I found a video on youtube "how to make flawless concrete castings" he makes a legit bowl

I'm another Evernote-to-OneNote story. Long time Evernote Premium subscriber, Bending Spoons has finally pushed me out. I have created journal notes for years, as well as other note categories/topics (chore/to-do lists, web clipper, genealogy, health, inventories, instruction manuals...). I switched to Joplin for a few months. Not my cup-o-tea, I really wanted something that behaved like the Evernote of old. So now I'm on the OneNote journey. Thanks Justin McClung for the hashtag tagging idea. I'm applying your methodology as well. But like the old Evernote, I wanted to immediately see specific "tagged" notes; visually. So I borrowed from someone else's idea, while in Joplin, to embed specific icons in the note title. Here's how I enter my OneNote note titles currently - 2024-03-19 Tue. (Honolulu►Mukilteo►OS) 🚩 In addition to your idea within the note for searching - #needswork (in red, bolded) Thanks Justin

Yes thats a good way to do it. The problem is that it shows you everything that hast ONE of those characters in it. So even the "#" symbol will be displayed. So its actually useless to find notes wich have exactly a word it in. If I am looking for "@it" it will show me everything that has a # that has an i and a t in it. So its not ab absolut search result.

Why do most managers get hired outside of the workplace in larger than mom and pop places? These managers then have little to no understanding of the field that they are in. Simple fact of the matter is the managerial class micro-manages in order to optimize his little minions better so he can lick the boot of capitalists for a few more dollars. 2:45 minutes in and waste of my time. Anyone with a little lived experience as an actual worker will see through this “empathy” you have to learn.
